PALMA GARDENS

June 14, 2017

During my last stays in Palma I was frequently wondering about this apparently empty office block, overlooking Palmas main beach on the entry road towards the city. Further I wondered about the huge empty space just west of the building and I thought this should become a botanical garden linked to a renovation of the office façade with a sustainable design along the botanical theme.

Palma is an absolutely fantastic city, with the charm of the old town, the proximity of its beaches and large harbour and the backdrop of green hills and the tramontana mountains in the further distance.  But I feel it’s a little short on inner-city green spaces and this would be a great opportunity to create lush park in this prime location and equally put Palma on the map for business in addition to it’s thriving tourism.
